Jain Samaj of Long Island Inc. was established in 2007 to serve the social and religious needs of approximately 200 Jain families in the Hicksville area. It was formed by a dedicated group of volunteers under the guidance of Shri Pravinbhai Shah and has since organized various events and celebrations, including Paryushan, Navsmaran, and Pathshala. In 2016, with the support of the entire community, they successfully completed the construction of a Jinalaya through fundraising efforts. They hosted a grand Pratishtha ceremony in 2019, which was witnessed by the entire sangh and broadcasted live.
